(RTTNews) - Naugatuck Valley Financial (NVSL) posted second quarter net income of $602 thousand or $0.09 per share, compared to $312 thousand or $0.04 per share in the year-ago quarter.
Net interest income for the quarter rose to $3.4 million from $2.8 million in the prior year quarter. Quarterly non-interest income was $661 thousand, an increase of 9.1%, compared to $606 thousand in the previous year quarter.
