Naugatuck Valley Financial Corporation, the parent holding company of Naugatuck Valley Savings and Loan, was created in 2004 concurrent with its reorganization from a mutual savings institution to the mutual holding company form of organization. Effective June 29, 2011, Naugatuck Valley Financial Corporation completed its public stock offering and the concurrent second-step conversion from a mutual holding company to a stock holding company. Naugatuck Valley Financial Corporation’s common stock is traded on the NASDAQ Global Market under the symbol NVSL.

Naugatuck Valley Savings and Loan, originally organized in 1922, is a federally chartered stock savings bank which is headquartered in Naugatuck, Connecticut. The bank provides a full range of personal banking, business banking and investment services – all with exceptional customer service.
