Naugatuck Valley Savings and Loan also safeguards your online transactions.  Whenever you browse our Web site, we do not collect any information that identifies you personally.

Use of Collected Information
Visitors to our website remain anonymous. We do not send or receive "cookies" when our site is visited. (A "cookie" is used to collect information about those who visit a specific site.) We do not obtain any information that identifies you personally unless you choose to provide such information to us. Information collected is for the sole purpose of tracking activity on our web site.

We do collect general information about your visit, such as when you accessed our site, which pages you accessed in our website, and what Internet provider you used when you accessed our site. Also tracked is information regarding how many people have visited our site, areas the requests are transmitted from, and what you typed into a search engine to find our site.

We will not disclose information to third parties about your account unless it is:

All requests are strictly fulfilled in accordance with the requirements of federal and state law.

The Bank will never sell or give any personal information received to any other organization. We do not disclose any nonpublic personal information about our customers or former customers to anyone, except as permitted by law.

We do not disclose or sell to any third-party information that we collect or that is provided to us from visitors to this website. We do not send advertisements or email to someone who just visited our website.

Electronic Mail Usage
Our Web site, eValley Online Banking and eValley Business Banking allow you to communicate with us by electronic mail by using a link called “Contact Us”.  “Contact Us” is a convenient method of exchanging non-confidential with the bank.  It is not a secure connection and should not include any private or confidential information, such as social security numbers, unlisted telephone numbers, bank account numbers, personal income information, etc.

eValley Online Banking and eValley Business Banking  Security
Protecting the confidentiality and security of your personal and account information is top priority at Naugatuck Valley Savings & Loan.  Your cooperation is vital to maximize the effectiveness of our security measures. 

Layered authentication security measures are in place to protect the user’s information through separated access ID’s and passwords, and through validation images and questions.  The user also can register their computer - the computers unique set of characteristics will be stored by internet banking and used as additional validation criteria during subsequent logins.  Also as part of this layered security, the user uses an authentication pass  phrase - another tool to ensure customers are accessing a valid internet banking website.
Please use the following guidelines to protect the privacy of your information when using eValley Online Banking and eValley Business Banking .

  • Usage of an internet browser that supports Secure Socket Layers (SSL) is required.  SSL encrypts your data to prevent unauthorized persons from gaining access to it.
  • Do not share your password or Personal Identification Number (PIN with anyone you do not want to have access to your accounts.  Anyone who has your password or PIN has the same access to your accounts that you have.  If you suspect that an unauthorized person has obtained your password or PIN, please contact us immediately at (203) 720-5000.
  • Do not respond to e-mail requests for sensitive personal or financial information.  Naugatuck Valley Savings and Loan will never request this information via e-mail or through our website.


Employee Access
Only authorized employees are allowed to access your information. Employees use information only for official bank business. State and federal laws and regulations, in addition, restrict the disclosure of your information by employees. Employees can be disciplined if they fail to follow our privacy policies.

Use of Cookies on eValley Online Banking and eValley Business Banking
We respect your privacy, so please be advised that Naugatuck Valley Savings and Loan uses cookies on our secured "eValley Online Bankings and eValley Business Banking " site in order to tell our system that you've logged in as a valid user. Without the cookie data, you would have to login each time you wanted to move to another page. When you click on the Exit button to leave the secured site, the cookie data is then flushed from your system.
